TOWER Credit union changes policy For the protection of members in the Midtown Federal Credit Union, information regarding ac- counts is no longer given over the telephone. The office is located at 1850 Williams and their hours are: Monday 1 - 5:30 p.m. Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday Closed Friday 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Resident staff named Residents for the coming year have been named by the Medical Education Department. The House Staff members and their specialities include Dr. Bruce T. Gilmore and Dr. Harl G. Stump, Surgery IV (chiefs); Dr. Ed Quianzon, Surgery IV; Dr. Pravej Itarut, Dr. John R. VOLUME 8 MAY 197 1 NUMBER 5 National Hospital Week Congratulations to the winners of our guessing contests! Vi McKay, Service Coordination, won a $20 gift certificate; Dorothy Polkinghorn, also of Service Coordination, was the recipient of the $10 prize; and Mike Mellon of X-ray, won the $5 certif- icate. The announcement of the winners ended the week's celebration which started with the ice cream social pictured above. Campaign advances Employees have responded enthusiastically to the campaign for our new surgery/outpatient pavilion. The thrust which started several months ago will extend over a three-year period. Nearly 100 em- ployees have pledged an average of $119 towards the $5,000,000 structure. People who would like to give to the campaign may make use of a payroll deduction which has been established as the "Surgery Pavilion Building Fund." No deduction will be made without the signature of the donor. For those who desire to make use of this deduction method, it is suggested that you save all of your check stubs for tax deduction purposes. Pledges can be discontinued at any time by notifying the Personnel Department two weeks in advance.
