Condolences � Deepest sympathy to the following employees on recent deaths in their families: Dr. Wain White, Laboratory pathologist; Jean Batchelder, Laboratory; Rose Williams, Hattie Hodge and Velda Barnes, Environmen- tal Services. Conventions � Dennis Raettig, Vonnie Gallagher and Dr. Don McClure of the Laboratory attended the annual AABB Convention in San Antonio, Texas. � Bekki Bonis and Gayle Peters of the Laboratory traveled to the CAP (ASCP) Convention in New Orleans. � Dr. John M. Coke, Director of the Dental Clinic, presented a paper, "Dental Management of the Chronic Kidney Patient," at the American Dental Association Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, in October. � Lori Kondrat, Education Coordi- nator of The Women's Pavilion, and Nancy Griffith, Nurse Edu- cator, attended a conference for the winners of the American Hospital Association Patient Education Awards in Chicago. Other Department News � Surgery welcomes back Nancy Dexheimer, RN, who has been recuperating from surgery. Central Service thanks its employees for making C.S. Recognition Day a success. Carlene Dumont, R.P.T., Physical Therapy, and her husband, Don, are members of the teaching staff with the Winter Park Handicap Program. Congratulations from HRIS to Barbara Bern', Dorothy Mang and Kathy DeValois for passing the Registered Record Administrator tests. Telecommunications put together a November potluck for their boss Ken Merritts. Med Search and the Switchboard are planning to exchange names for "Secret Angels" during the holiday season. They plan a potluck and gift exchange for December 24. Thanks to George Hildebrandt for his work with the Med Search program. Nancy Kuhl, Hospital photographer and Public Relations assistant, had two of her photographs published in the November 13 issue of the Christian Science Monitor. The pictures were taken during Nancy's tour of China a year ago. Congratulations to Bill Team' of Respirator)' Therapy who was elected treasurer of the 30,000 member American Association of Respiratory Therapy. His term of office runs through November 13, 1985.
